Nimbus Earbuds Pro review: small buds, big quiet

We have been using the Nimbus Earbuds Pro daily for three weeks, mostly on trains and in open-plan offices. The short version: the noise cancelling punches well above the price.
Fit and comfort
Three tip sizes are in the box and the medium fit us well. At 5 grams per bud they disappear after a few minutes, and wear detection pauses music reliably when you pull one out.
Sound
The default tuning is slightly warm with a gentle bass lift. Vocals sit forward and nothing sounds harsh at high volume. The app EQ has five bands if you want to flatten it.
Noise cancelling and calls
Low-frequency rumble on the train is almost gone. Voices are reduced but not eliminated, which is normal at this size. Call quality outdoors was the surprise; the six-mic array handled wind far better than expected.
Battery
We measured 7 hours 10 minutes with ANC on, close to the claimed 7.5. The case adds three more charges and supports wireless charging.
Verdict: at $129 these are an easy recommendation.
